Offro
How it works

From the job posting to the offer call

Offro opens as a side panel in Chrome with three tabs: Prepare, Practice and Live. Here’s how people use it.

  1. Install and sign in

Add Offro to Chrome and open it from the toolbar. Sign in with a 6-digit email code or Google. You get 30 free credits. Not ready? Try the 2-minute demo interview first, no account needed.

  2. Add your resume and the job

    • Upload your resume once. Answers use your real experience, never invented facts.
    • Add the job you applied for. On a job posting (LinkedIn and most job sites), Fill from this page fills in the company, role and description for you.
    • Track each application: stage, next interview, next step and contacts.
  3. Prepare for that job

    • Resume match: every requirement as a good match, partial match or missing, with suggestions and a cover letter.
    • Prep pack: your pitch, the questions they’ll likely ask, and your best stories from your resume.
    • Company brief: what they do, recent news, what this interview will test, and questions to ask them.
  4. Practice out loud

    • Mock interview: 3 or 5 questions asked out loud, follow-ups included. Answer by speaking; stuck? Show a hint. Get a report on every answer.
    • Coding practice: problems with a timer, hints and a scorecard, and a study plan across 16 patterns. Quizzes too.
  5. Go live on the call

    • Open your call in a Chrome tab (Meet, or Zoom and Teams in the browser) and press Start interview.
    • When they ask a question, a line to open with appears, then the full answer and key points.
    • Solve problem for coding questions and quizzes, Translate for calls in another language, and Explain for terms you didn’t catch.
    • Optional: an on-screen card on the call tab, keyboard shortcuts, and your phone as a second screen.
  6. After the call

A call report with the questions they asked, feedback on your answers and a thank-you email to send. Your interviews stay in History on your computer, ready to review before the next round.

Meeting mode

Not an interview? Switch to Meeting.

Press the bar at the top of the Live tab and choose Meeting: a sales call, a stand-up or another meeting. Add a few notes about it (agenda, who’s on the call, the deal).

During the meeting

Short first-person replies with talking points. On sales calls, calm answers to objections like price or timing, and a suggested next step. Nothing invented: anything it can’t confirm becomes “I’ll follow up”.

Afterwards

Meeting notes with a summary, decisions and action items with owners, and a follow-up email ready to send.

Questions

Which calls does it work with?

Any call that plays in a Chrome tab: Google Meet, and Zoom or Microsoft Teams in the browser. Joined in the Zoom or Teams app by mistake? Offro shows how to switch to the browser.

Can the other people see Offro?

No. It’s a side panel in your own browser. It doesn’t join the call or show up for anyone else. Offro is a visible tool, not hidden software, so tell the people on your call you’re using a transcription assistant where that’s required.

Does it make things up?

Answers come from your resume, the job description and your notes. Offro is told never to invent employers, numbers or projects; if something isn’t in your materials, it keeps the answer general so you can fill in your own example.

What languages does it support?

It transcribes many languages and can answer in a different language from the one being spoken. Live translation shows each line in your language as people speak.

Do I need an account to try it?

No. The demo interview runs without an account or credits. Sign up when you want to use it on a real call.
