OffroPrivacy Policy
Offro, support@getoffro.com (“we”) provides the Offro browser extension and its service. This policy explains what we process and why. We act as data controller under the GDPR.
In short: transcripts, answers and your resume are never stored on our servers. Your history, jobs and notes stay on your computer. Call audio is streamed for transcription and discarded. We keep your account, your credit balance and its history.
What we process

Practice history, call reports and your profile are stored locally in your browser (Chrome storage), not on our servers.
Product tests (A/B tests)
Some people may see a slightly different version of a feature (for example a button’s wording, bonus credits on a credit pack, or an extra option such as a 7-day pass) while we test which works better. Everyone in a test gets the same price for the same pack size, or more credits for the same price; we don’t charge some people more for the same thing. You can opt out at any time in Settings → Share anonymous usage. You then get the standard version of everything and aren’t counted. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the product (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), with an opt-out.
Service providers (processors)
- Supabase (authentication and database), EU region
- Railway (application hosting)
- Anthropic (AI model API). Under its commercial terms, API data isn’t used to train models.
- Deepgram (speech-to-text). We opt out of Deepgram’s model improvement program, so your audio isn’t used to train its models. Along with the audio, a short list of names and technical words from your active job and résumé (for example the company and the technologies) is sent as listening hints, so they’re transcribed correctly; not your full résumé.
- Stripe (payments and tax)
- Google (only if you choose “Continue with Google”)
Some providers process data outside the EU under Standard Contractual Clauses.
Recording and consent
The extension transcribes audio you choose to capture. You are responsible for informing other participants and getting consent where the law requires it.
Legal bases
Contract (providing the service you signed up for), legal obligation (tax records), and legitimate interest (security, abuse prevention).
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, and object or complain to your supervisory authority (in Hungary: NAIH). Email support@getoffro.com and we’ll respond within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your account and usage records. Stripe keeps invoices as required by law.
This website
getoffro.com uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts or fonts. Our host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security, for a short time.
Security
Encrypted connections (HTTPS/WSS), keys kept server-side, row-level security in the database.
Children
Not intended for anyone under 16.
Changes
We’ll update this page when this changes, and notify signed-in users of material changes.
